Obviously emotions are running high with this one...I hope that having the opportunity to voice some feelings was helpful...There is no justification how this so called doctor was taken out...but not feeling bad about it doesn't make you a bad person...in my mind the question is now what are we going to do to help make women make better choices...
Winning them to Christ is a start, but christian women are having abortions at an alarming rate...so we have to do more...we have to engage...pay attention to what our friends are thinking, have open conversations about this subject...
How about being more involved in things like foster care and adoption...it's one thing to stand up and proclaim that abortion is wrong, but it's another thing to give women an alternative to it...
Let's let this passion that many have been feeling motivate us to get involved and be a part of actually decreasing this damnable practice in this country...
Uh Oh...now we have to do something...

Foster care and adoption!!!! Let's do something!!! That's very funny coming from you and my CFC family, who, because of your negative comments, diqualified me from foster care /adoption because you didn't believe. Next you'll be saying you belive the Bible, you know the part that says we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us or with God all things are possible or with God nothing is impossible or that God will give us the desires of our heart or God directs the stteps of a righteous man or
no weapon formed against us will prosper and every tongue that rises up against us will be condemmed. I could go on and on. Maybe you need to stop back stabbing those of us who are motivated "to get involved and be a part of actually decreasing this damnable practice in this country... Uh oh...now we have to do something..." Well??? Now for me every time I hear of a child aborted, injured or murdered
I have to ask, how dare you?! I don't think this is "doing life together" but rather selecting who God can use. signed a Sarah
My daughter Sarah and I were at our bank for a luncheon Friday and sat with a woman who is pro-choice and said exactly what you just said. In a very nasty tone she told us if we Christians are so opposed to abortion why aren't we giving women more choices by doing foster-care and adopting those who need homes. She said we need to put up or shut up. As it happens I was able to tell her my husband and I are putting up! We start our classes for both foster-care and adoption on Sept. 8TH and have been waiting for the classes to start since last year. She was very surprised by this as our children are all grown and starting families of their own. She stated she knows much of the cost for the care of the foster children will come from us and I told her that is o.k. She left with a much more pleasant attitude!
Hi Pastor Dan,
I was on the look out for this next post. :)
I was really interested in what you had to say about it. I'm behind you, and I wanted to tell you that I really enjoy reading what you have to say about things.

Wondering if you have given up on writing to us... you asked for our opinions :) Hope all is well and wondering what is on your mind.
Love you and keep them coming!
I love it when we are called to action. Thanks Pastor Dan for reminding us Christians to do a good deed(foster care and adopt) to negate a negative outcome(abortion). God's will can be accomplished in all things.
